December 2024 International Exchange Salon Let’s Learn about “Ikebana”
The theme of the CCIEA December event is Ikebana, the Art of Traditional Japanese Flower Arrangement. You may see Ikebana at inns and hotels in Japan. These arrangements are beautiful and fill us with calmness. They are not mere decoration. Ikebana reflects the heart of the arranger, conveying the inner beauty of natural element and expressing all of its harmony to the viewers. Also, there is a specific manner, not only in arranging the flowers but also in viewing them.
Let’s learn about the fundamental principles of Ikebana from an Ikebana instructor through hands-on experience.
