February 2024 International Exchange Salon “Accompanying percussion sound for Kabuki Let’s learn about “Tukeuchi”！”
CCIEA holds International Exchange Salon that provides you with the opportunity of communication between foreigners and Japanese. In February, let’s learn about the special percussion sound called “Tsukeuchi” which accompanies the traditional Japanese dance-drama, Kabuki. You will be taught the heart and mind behind the techniques of Tsukeuchi through unique experiences. Discovering this enchanting sounds will lead you to real cultural appreciation of traditional Japanese performing arts.
